Immmmmm Back!








Gosh I have missed you blog!

Vhristmas was great! I had my girls home, jeff came with katie and the week before mama hurban came with Oj. We got to take them down to fisherman's wharf and to Cannery row to enjoy some good weather for a change. Ok...on to christmas with the girls...lol.....They loved all of their gifts of course. Mike got me an amazing 3 stone diamond ring that is just beautiful. My mother got me the matching coach wallet to my purple coach purse that I have been wanting forever, thank you mother! I got a lot fo wonderful gifts that i love so very much. We got a very nice blanket from christina and family that we love very much, thank you! I swear to you I love to cook, How do you think I got so plump to start with...haha. I made a ton of cookies, all kinds. I think the favorites had to be the chocolate peanut butter balls....my favorite too! The tea ring mama made, to die for with a litle scoop of vanilla ice cream..yummy! You now with the help of TFD, thanks goodness I learned how to get through this holiday season...i could eat anything I was serving but in moderation. :) No your limits!

Today i drove 7 hours back home from San Diego....shots again. YUK....but this trips was awesome in the fact that i got to meet Carol and Laurence...I really love these two so much. In fact they can be my new adopotive west coast parents :)....yea that sounds good. lol....They are the cutest couple i swear, so nice and just welcomed me into their home. Loved it. :) Thank you

So, my resolution is to get on this darn blog and write more. I have been so busy at work that I havent much time. These kids make my heart melt on a daily bases and really enjoy beng there with them.

OK.....

Let me put this out there....I have this issue on Fb! There is this person...wont mention the name, wont have to. Im thinking about posting the letters I have got recently on my blog for the world to see just who this person is behind close doors. This person is such a fake it is driving me nuts, they keep making it appear as though I am the one bullying and I am the furthest from that as everyone that knows me knows that I am a warm, kind hearted person. I dont know why I have let this person get under my skin like this, but after this week and the fb messages and the fakeness....omg...I am so over it! Grow up and get a real life honey!

Diego....Love it here



well~ I am back in San Diego for a few days....I miss this place so much! The weather when i got here was raining and cold. Today has been chilly and drizzles. Has been a really long day and I am sooo tired. I spent some time wth Ashlee today and it was nice seeing her, talking to her and catching up with her. Chilling with katie right now....miss being in the same town with her and Jeffers....One day in about 14 months we will all be in the same town again....that will be nice.

Tomorrow I am dreading. Shots begin. OUCHY! Back and hips, this should be a rather fun day.....not. I am so glad that crystal is picking Lexi up from school. When I talked to lexi on the phone tonight she was super excited telling me about riding home with Crystal and the kids today. She really enjoy s spending time with all of them. She is going to be so very sad when the twins have to go to Texas for 6 months to spend time with their mommy....sad times ahead for my baby girl....Makes me so sad to think about it.

Very Grateful though to have such a great neighbor and a good friend in Crystal....I sure do like her lil dude....he makes me smile. :) It is good to have neighbors that are nice, that become good friends. :)

Let's see.....Katie is blowing up my bed right now....lol....so its bed time for me....haha....I didnt sleep much last night. Was a long drive and woke up early, couldnt get back to sleep for anything. ugh! So...I am going to try very hard to sleep better tonight, thanks to my great magic cocktail from my doctor. :)

Immmm Back!





Boy have I missed you Blog!

I hate when I get busy and I dont get here to blog....We have had this week off from school for "fall" break, the weather has been beautiful. Been hanging out with crystal and her kids this week. Lots of fun! Tuesday we went to downtown Monterey to the farmer's market, 4 city blocks of gooods....it is fabulous. Crystal has never been and it was fun taking them down there. Afterwards we went to Big Bear diner where if the kids bring in a stuffed animal they eat free, so two adults came with 4 kids and they all ate free, so cool. Wednesday we went to Lover's Point is Pacific Grove as she hasnt been there yet either, it is a beautiful park by the ocean with a little beach area for the kids to play in the water. They had a ton of fun in the water.....
Last night we took them to the Skating Rink, Lordy I havent had skates on in years. I had so much fun. Thanks Crystal for getting m out of the house and making me laugh so hard this week. ;)

What the ??????





My mood is What the Hell....today! no really it is. I don't know but it is just weird today. So here is my picture to go along with my mood. Hahaha. I'm tired of the mood swings, hot flashes, fighting, whining. Why cant we all just get along and just love each and appreciate that we are family. Some people don't even have families. Some people would love to just be LOVED! period. Man growing up I would have loved to have my siblings even recognize me. I was to busy trying to get my mother to recognize me. UGH.....I just cant take it anymore. My head is hurting all the time from the constant stress. My heart is hurting. Blah.


I went for a bike ride this morning to try and clear my head a bit, didn't work. ugh. I have a long day at school tomorrow...Its picture day and i signed up to volunteer. I get a free picture package for Lexi, so It is worth it in the end for 2 hours of volunteering, right? Then I go straight to work...lol....Going to SD at the end of the week....I'm hoping for a peaceful trip, fingers crossed. I may pack a sleeping bag and sleep on the beach JK......I love the beach..my safe place. My get away place. :) There is just something about sitting on the sand, listening to the waves crashing into the shore....its just great. I love it!

Missing you blog!




Well so sorry!


I havent updated in two weeks.....I have been so busy. I did lexi's bday spa/ sleepover party and I have to say it was a big success. These 9 little girls said they have never been to such a wonderful party. The best birthday party ever and there will never be a party to top this one, unless I plan a better one that is. lol. Im so glad Lexi had a great birthday. She is so worth it. The big hit of the party was the chocolate fountain, the best thing I have ever bought. haha big hit!

I have been faithfully riding my bike everyday for an hour....friday I decided to add an extra 30 mins on...wow...that about killed me. No really. My side was hurting and so out of breathe. I guess Im not ready yet for the extra time. bummer. Will try again next week, maybe I will add 10 mins at a time. Yea thats sounds like a plan.

This week will be busy at school. I have volunteered to work school picture day on tuesday. I will get a free $40 package, which works out great for me for 2 hours of my time. :) Sweet. Friday I made 200 bags of popcorn for spirit friday...that was fun. I really enjoy giving some time to lexi's school.

Lets see....this coming weekend I am heading to Sd to get my shots in my back..oh joy. At least I will get to see the girls and spend some time with them.

Well....its that time...Have to make dinner and get ready for my nice,hot bath. :)

Busy as always




Look at my little model....lol...She is always striking a pose...eats like a horse but never,ever gains a pound...she will be thanking her daddy that she got his genes...

So, I have been extremely busy this past week planning Lexi's lu's spa/sleepover birthday party....now im wishing there was a chucky cheese close by...lol... Im on a mission this week to go out and buy everything on my list...Out of 10 girls only 3 have verbally rsvp to Lexi at school..2 are the twins that live by us...lol... what is wrong with people these days that they dont let you know...its just the polite thing to do so you know how much to get....I have so much to buy for goodie baskets....Going to have a chocolate fountain...the Lexi has asked for blackberries, strawberries,banana's, raspberries, blueberries and rice krispie treats to dip in the chocolate...YUMMY right....Oh to be 9 again and have no worries.
will be doing a vegie and fruit tray and having lots of pizza. They will have to dign in to get there mannie and peddie done, will have teenie bopper magazines to read and movies for them to watch....for breakfast im making homemade waffles and serving them with strawberries and chocolate chips...whip cream...woohoo...send them home full of sugar... LOL... :) I hope she has a good time.... I will send them home with a good basket of manicure set, flipflops, finger nail polish,headband,eye cover, of CANDY~ lol...

Im going to need a spa day myself when this is all over....I think my husband is going to hide out in our bedroom...lol...Thankgod for ps3 and plasma tv in there....hahaha....Its just one night...I keep syaing that over nad over in my head. We will survive... She is worth it. :)

My diet is still going very well. Im biking for an hour a day and walking for 30 miniutes in the afternoon. Still on 1500 calories a day and I lost 1.5 pounds last week. I miss my TFD food but Im trying my best...Im doing my fruit salad in the morning or having oatmeal for breakfast. :) Have to get back to SD soooooon.

Well...tons to do cant be siiting on the computer all day today...Much love my peeps...cya soon <3 hugs!

Hump day

Ha... hump day! Who decided to call it that anyways...Its wednesday, which means its early day for school. But this weeks its different, no school monday for Labor Day and Wed, Thur and Fri are going to be early days for teacher conference days. Oh Yea! ;)

Lexi sure is milking her little injury to her foot.....let me tell ya what she did....She was standing on the kitchen counter trying to get a bowl because she wante to make some soup last night. Mike and I were sitting in the livingroom when we here crash and then crying....he jumps up (takes me awhile) She is on the floor crying and holding her foot. At least she was honest about how she got there. So, she bruised the bottom of her foot and im sure it really does hurt alot....when she got home from school I let her put my boot(when I broke my foot and had surgery I had a boot)on to help her BROKE foot. I thought it was cute, daddy thinks it isnt...lol...Maybe I can get a photo to add to this blog later...Anyways....he says she is totally milking her little injury....aawwhhh well of course she is...lol.

As for me...Well...it is getting colder here at night and that means the arthritis is getting worse in my hips. I had deep shots last friday into my facets and trigger point injections, I hope they last a little longer this time. I took a really long, super hot bath tonight...it was nice. Its weird how im having issues with raising my right leg now...will have to let my Doc know when I got back on the 1st for next round of shots.

Mike is super busy studying, almost time to start a new quarter. He is here but not here...Make sense...Study study study....He goes to school and comes home to study...needs to find time to do something other than study.

Katie is doing good...always makes me proud...taking her math class and working. Probably so tired of her crazy mother by now...I just hope one day she knows how much i appreciate all that she does for me and for her sisters.

Ashlee is in 11th grade, I sure hope she will soon find herself. I worry so much about her. The child is so hard headed, strong willed. So much like me in many ways its scary.

1. Vacuuming -- 25 minutes of vacuuming around your home will burn just about 100 calories.

2. Gardening -- Like to garden? It's the digging and raking that will reap the most fitness benefits. These are the bigger calorie burners when it comes to gardening. In fact, you can burn up to 100 in just 15 minutes with these movements.

3. Walking -- The easiest and one of the most natural movements known to human beings. Fifteen minutes of brisk walking will burn approximately 100 calories. A brisk daily walk at lunch time or after work will make a difference.

4. Jogging in place -- Need a quick pick me up before work? Jog in place for 12 minutes and burn a little more than 100 calories.

5. Dancing -- 20 minutes of dancing at a moderate pace will burn 100 calories. C'mon, you know you love to do it, so have some fun with it.

17. Pushing baby stroller -- Pushing a stroller burns approximately 60 calories in 20 minutes. No problem, two nice and easy 20-minute strolls per day will get the job done without even breaking a sweat.

18. Mowing the lawn (self-propelled mower) -- 25 minutes and you've burned about 100 calories. Just like cleaning, it needs to be done so put a little oomph into it.

19. Painting -- Need to paint a room in your home or apartment? You can burn approximately 100 calories with 20 minutes of painting. Plus, you get a better-looking room at the same time.

20. Weight training -- 15 minutes of vigorous weight training will burn approximately 100 calories. You don't have to workout forever. Just three 15 to 20 minute sessions per week will keep your bones strong, muscles tight -- and you'll keep burning calories after your workout.

Monday 9/6

Well, Its Labor day...any plans out there?

We are totally going to relax today....Mike is doing homework, lexi is playing the wii and me...well, Im relaxing. :) It looks like it is going to be a nice day out today, thank goodness. Going to take a bike ride with lexi later this afternoon. Plan on doing some steaks on the grill, a little one for me though. Thanks to TFD im really taking control of the portions. I had my own version of fruit salad this morning, so not like what I have been having but will have to do now. Made pancakes for Mike and Lexi.....Lexi had two cant believe it. Haha....

My mom went home yesterday....It sure was nice having her out for a visit. Maybe next time she will come for a little longer visit so I can take her around and get to carmel area...Love it there. Glad she had fun and got to see Katie and Ashlee too...oh and she got to meet Jeff... :)

It was nice to spend time with ashlee...I have missed her. Those hugs she gave me sure were tight. :) Thankful she is texting,emailing and calling me now...hope it keeps up. :)

Always enjoy spending time with Katie and Jeff as well...wish I had more time. Her enchiladas were yummy...spicy (LOL) but very good...what a good little cook she is!

Most of all it was nice to get back home, spend time with my hubby and just sit down and get off my feet. Those shots in my back sure did hurt more than ever this time...made me sick to my tummy. Feeling better today though. Maybe when I catch up on sleep it wont seem so hectic around here. Doubt it...haha

So...that's it for now....maybe if I feel like it I will write more later tonight... :)

San Diego





Back to Sd! Brought mom to see Katie and Ashlee and she wil catch her plane back home from here....I went to my lovely doctor today and got my treatments today. UGH...Those initial shots hurt but then it doesnt feel so bad I guess. Im really sore and going to take my cocktail of meds and go to bed. Lexi is sleeping very soundly and Im going to cuddle up with her. I have Katie, Jeff and mom watching the documentary " The Cove"...If you get a chance watch it...Well...just a little update with a few pics...of my mom, katie,jeff and lexi at Seaport Village. :) Night all

I really dont have to tell ya what I had for breakfast right..Haha... :) yes it is still amazing and oh so FrESH! I got the Chicken salad sabdwhich again...I had it before and I love it...the seven grain bread it very good as well. You must try this sandwhich....It is fantastic. Another most to try on the menu is this...the ginger poached apple...my gosh...when I first saw this on the menu...I was like..what a pached apple...Hum...So I ordered and yep...I fell inlove...I have a very nice love afair with food..Good thing. :) I have just had dinner and the grilled london broil was really tender and im a big fan of the respberry sauce..has the best flavor. Im slowly inhaling my pina colada cheese cake as I type....it is so scrumptious.. every little bite...every little crumb...I will savor it....Yummy. :) I hope you will try some of these off the menu sometime... :) They are amazing

Well...Yes I had the best fruit salad for breakfast again today too...I know I really should see someone for this huh. :) I took an amazing walk along the beach again today. I also took my daughter to see Nanny Mcphee today, cute movie... I snuck my oatmeal cookie un for snack...lol...We went to the park and had lunch outside today..where i really enjoyed my salad...so crisp and fresh...The dressing was amazing today. :) Thank you chef. Yes I know I also have a problem with having grilled chicken breast to much as well. lol...But it is so delicious....The green beans with walnuts and garlic...wow...awesome flavor....And oh yea....the best part of my day...Cheese cake...Gingersnap...and pumpkin is my alltime favorite...wow..together are out of the world...Thank you thank you thank you... :)

Fruit salad..Yummy, yummy. Haha..Wow..Im telling you if you havent tried the fruit salas yet..what are you waiting for...it is amazing. The freshest fruit around. The grilled steak salad I had for lunch today was very tender and the salad was crisp...the Horseradish dressing, not my favorite however...lol...I took my "sugar free" Pineapple upside-down cake with me today to the beach, so i would have something to enjoy after my walk. Yet again....another slice of heaven for me. This was very yummy, moist and delicious. I went for another walk to pick up my daughter from school today and the chicken cordon blue is by far one of my favorites now that I have had for dinner. The water chestnuts were great as well. I decided to have my dessert before my bike ride tonight....switch it up a little....The chocolate pudding is heavenly and the toasted almonds...wow..i love them. Tfd is amazing...I hope you all will have an open mind with trying new things on the menu as well.... when selecting in the begining I marked a lot of dislikes....after the first week I found myself seecting and tring many things on the menu and the buttong popping up to let me know it was on the dislike....I took it anyway...im glad I did and tried....The food is amazing and the menu is Fab...try it you just might like something new. :)

OMG~ I have really gone to heaven today....I woke up and changed it up with creamy banana nut oatmeal...simply divine. I savored every bite. I went for a walk this mornging on the beach, the sound of the waves crashing against the sand was peaceful. Only wish I would have brought a book and stayed a little while longer....I did bring my snack to enjoy as I sat there after my walk to enojoy the view....I swear..I just dont know how they ever call this "sugar free" this minted cheesecake bar....oh my...with the perfect amount of chocolate drizzles....it really just keeps getting better all the time....

DInner tonight was amazing...the citrus marinated beef...was perfectly flavored...im really coming to asparagus..never thought i would mutter those words..lol....

I really dont know how in the world I saved the chocolate covered strawberry for dessert...just knowing it was in the 'fridge all day....just about killed me....I had to hide in the veggie drawer behind everything...lol....good thinking I know... :) I would have loved to have a few more of those for sure.... Thanks again for making my day delicious TFD!

Well, Guess what? I switched this morning and tried something new..lol...I thought I would try the cherry vanilla whole wheat muffin and of course it was amazing...the wild berry yogurt was very good. The whole wheat pizza couldnt have been better, the cheese,pepper and marinara sauce all warmed up justed melted in my mouth and warmed up my tummy. I have a great love affair with grilled chicken breast and today was no different, only it came with sweet and sour sauce....it was nice...I love peas and broccoli....I had the Cheesecake this afternoon while reading my book at the beach....felt like heaven.... :) I had my awesome chocolate chip oatmeal cookie just now and I still find it hard to believe that I get to eat cookies and cheesecake on a diet.....Thanks TFD for making it so easy and healthy... :)

I am really addicted to fruit salad...Well I know when my month is over I can really control myself and be able to be good and know what fruits to buy at the farmers market. I have always been in love with salads and now know the right portions and have saved my containers so that I will be able to serve myself the right amount of salads. I love my fruit salad...It has become a natural part of my mornings now....yummy. I am also making fruit salad for my family....my youngest loves fruit and yogurt.
The whole wheat pizza was different and im not that crazy about mushrooms, however....this was very delicious and very filling...after my walk today I had my snack...the chicken quesadilla is awesome...if you havent had a chance to try this yet..what are you waiting for...lol....oh and the mango salsa...wow...I love it...Everyone that knows about the Pistachio crusted chocolate dipped figs...omg...they are simply amazing....These are also a must you have to try....

Another day, another TFD day down! Fresh fruit salad in my tummy...sweet. I must say the turkey, pastrami panini isnt a favorite of mine but i ate every bite. I had my snack early today because I couldnt hold off wanting to eating that amazing looking muffin anymore. Boy, let me say...wow...super fresh, I heated it for 10 secs and oooohlala....delightful. Of course for dinner tonight i had chicken breast, the caribbean mango sauce was great, the mix of wild rice and cranberry pilaf was fantasic.....and ta...da.....for dessert.....can you believe it..I keep saying this..I cant believe you get dessert....Im having the most amazing Creamy...yes iti s super creamy...banana cheesecake..Thank you again for all the wonderful flavors TFD... :)

So. tonight I went with the turkey meatballs and I must say...they were pretty good and the thair ginger sauce was pretty yummy too. A first for me was the whipped sweet potato....amazing. I love,love,love the asian pear with ricoota cheese and cashews...if you havent had this it is a must.....awesome. Of course I am having cheesecake.....Im in love with cheesecake...and TFD!

I am so inlove with the Strawberry stuffed wheat french toast, wow....If you haven't tried these yet, what are you waiting for? Simply amazing. I can't say enough about TFD fruit, so fresh and yummy. I have deifinately become a big fan of yogurt now. This week I have also become a fan of the wraps. The turkey was delicious and I cant wait to have this one again. I had the blueberry muffin for early snack today, for some reason I was feeling hungry today..must have been the long walk I tokk the puppy on this morning. :) for dinner...The beef kabobs were good, the peppercorn brandy sauce was different but good...I love sweet potato so that was delightful for me. Wowzer! People I am going to have to go some kind of addiction class for fruit salad...lol...I love fruit salad..yummy..yummy! The freshest fruit ever. As always, I again had grilled chicken breast and the raspberry chipotle sauce and wheat pasta...simply amazing. I looooovvee Oatmeal...This creamy banana oatmeal was the best....thanks for serving it with strawberries and almonds...started my day off great! :) I have never had a sloppy joe in a wrap before, last week I had it on a wheat bun and this was perfect and light in a wrap. Dinner was chicken breats as always...I am slightly addicted to chicken breast...lol....the puttanesca sauce....perfect! Who doesnt love baby peas....I had the peanut butter chip early in the day as a snack, I was feelin a little hungry today....exercised a litte more today. :) Dessert~ if you havent tried this yet.....out of this world with great flavors...im not crazy about key lime...but after the key lime cheesecake...I figured when I saw this on the menu I would give it a try because I love pineapple....and I love coconut....It is so wonderful....Give it a try sometime. :)

Yes...Today Im having WAFFLES! with fresh and I do mean fresh Blackberries....delicious. This yougurt is simply amazing....and I dont even like yogurt. I chose to have a salad for lunch today, I love salad and let me to you something....this salad was so fresh and crisp...I also enjoyed having apple in it and the raspberry vinaigrette was the perfect amount to coat the entire salad. Oh boy..let me tell you the stuffed chicken breast was so tender....I have never taisted the flavors quite like these together all in one. Wow....I almost felt guilty eating this while my family was eating spaghetti....I definately enjoyed every little bite of the cheesecake.....I LOVE cheesecake.....saving the cookie for tomorrow!
